Maluma went from a performance papi to a real deal daddy! The international superstar reportedly debuted the music video for his song “Procura” at his Washington D.C. tour stop last night (Oct. 19). In the four-minute video, he revealed he’s expecting his first child with girlfriend Susana Gomez.
The sweet montage video shows home clips of the couple throughout their pregnancy journey. It begins with Maluma letting his cheering friends, family, and fans know at an April 2022 concert how deeply he loves his girlfriend. Susana was also in the crowd, per Maluma.
“So many years looking for love on the outside, and I didn’t notice that it was right there by my side. I love you, my life,” the singer said in Spanish.
The rest of the music video shows Maluma flexing his vocals as clips of the couple interacting roll. By the end, we see Maluma and Susana at an ultrasound appointment and later gathered with loved ones at a gender reveal celebration. They’re expecting a baby girl!
Maluma Calls Pregnancy With Girlfriend “Perfect Timing”
The Columbian singer has been on his “Don Juan” tour since late August and, while in the D.C. area, appears to have also sat with NPR Music. In a clip shared by Perez Hilton on X (formerly Twitter), he gushed about his new journey into fatherhood.
“I am having a baby. Wow, that’s crazy,” the singer said, laughing and smiling. “It’s such a big dream. I always dreamed about this. It’s perfect timing. I mean, all the beautiful things that I’m living, I’m looking for more personal experiences, too. I love my music, I love being on tour, but I also want to keep growing as a human being, you know, not only as an artist. So this makes me feel so human, and I love this. But at the same time, the more human I feel, the more artist.”
In the clip, he also confirmed that his daughter’s name is Paris. Several clips in the “Procura” video show the couple rocking diamond chains with the name.
“Like Paris, our beautiful daughter, she’s growing inside her mom’s belly, and she gives me, wow, many reasons to keep dreaming. It’s like she made a reset in my mind, she everything to me right now. It’s crazy, it’s a crazy feeling that only parents are gonna understand…But I just love this feeling and my days are brighter than ever.”

Not much is known about their relationship, given its usual private nature. The music video is one of the few insights into their romance. But in August, he opened up to Entertainment Tonight about Susana, public support for their relationship, and hinted at being a dad.
“It’s amazing, it’s beautiful,” Maluma shared. “I always try to keep it super private. You, know like my private life is Juan Luis. I always try to keep it away a little bit, but it’s almost impossible because you guys see me everyday. I am good, I am happy, I am very balanced.”
Elsewhere in the interview, he said he has “always dream[ed] about being a dad,” calling fatherhood “the biggest goal ever.”
