If you put your mind to it you can make anything a hustle! That’s exactly what happened with a man in NY who made a business out of waiting in lines!
Robert Samuel, 39, is the founder and CEO of NY based “Same Ole Line Dudes” also know as (SOLD). He decided to make a business out of doing what people really never want to do…wait in lines.
After getting laid off from his job in 2012, he birthed the idea and got it into motion. Now Samuel has 15 employees who also scatter the streets of NY for their paying customers.
They keep your place in line to help you get your hands on anything from iPhones, the latest Jordans, Broadway tickets, and even brunch waitlists, to name a few.
The going rate is $25 for the first hour and $10 for every half hour after that for those who don’t want to waste their time.
Samuel holds a full time job as a security guard in addition to SOLD because his shifts go in cycles.
One of his employees Adonis Porch, said the job goes down no matter what the weather is outside. Rain, sunny, hot or cold, he’s getting the job done.
