TSR Fam, we all love a good challengebut not all trends are meant to be followed, especially when stilettos and kitchen counters are involved. Influencer, Mariana Vasiuc, learned that the hard way while trying to recreate Nicki Minajs viral pose challengeand lets just say the only thing going viral now are her spine problems.
Mariana Vasiuc, a mom influencer with a serious social media following, took her shot at the viral Nicki Minaj ‘High School’ stiletto challenge thats been making rounds on TikTok lately. Inspired by Queen Nicki herselfwho famously balanced in heels by a pool in the 2013 music videothe challenge dares users to recreate the risky pose. But Vasiuc took things up several notches. In the now-viral clip, shes seen standing in sky-high stilettos on a baby formula tub stacked on top of a saucepan, all while trying to balance on a kitchen counter. And lets just say the saucepan said “Im out.” She slipped, tumbled hard, and allegedly ended up with a spinal fracture.
Despite the injury, Vasiuc kept her sense of humor, writing in a now-deleted caption: Irony? Karma? Or just life, which always tests our strength at the most unexpected moment. Vasiuc later updated her fans saying shes following doctors orders and embracing her new “star” status after over 50 people sent her the video from news outlets and blogs. Im doing great, following the guidelines and now living in star status, she wrote. One things for sure: the internet never forgets, and neither will her spine.

The rap icon herself recently jumped in on the viral challenge, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at her own attempt to recreate the iconic squatting stance from her 2013 ‘High School’ music video. While others have taken the trend to wild extremes, Nicki kept it closer to the original. Dressed in a stunning Chanel ensemble, the rap queen crouched down to strike the pose, but quickly let fans know her outfit wasnt exactly made for stunt work. Though she didnt fully complete the challenge, her playful attempt had fans living for the moment.
In a video posted to Instagram, Nicki shared the moment with the caption:
“Dear Barbz, about that pose. Ummm this Chanel dress was just a tad shorter than I thought & the thongs definitely didnt help. Didnt wat to make it explicit. Both feet on the ground tho. Ten toes. Ima put on a diff outfit that wont show so much skin & do it again for you guys later. love”
