Soulja Boy & Marlon Wayans Trade Insults

The ‘Crank That’ rapper had his followers racing to keep up as he blasted his entertainment industry peers on X (formerly Twitter), from Bhad Bhabie to Blueface. Neither of them has responded to Soulja Boy’s antics, but Marlon stepped into the ring with his comedy gloves ON, chile!

“Marlon Wayans you a b***h and u not funny shut up n***a keep selling ur soul and sucking the higher up d**ks,” Soulja Boy wrote.

A few hours later, Marlon slipped into the comment section with two clapbacks.

“Says the coon that jumped over the moon,” Marlon Wayans wrote in one post. Another said, “You molested lil boy. Go sit your lil a*s down on some uncle lap and stfu.”

In The Shade Room’s comment section, the actor added “Coonbya man lord COON BYE YA!!”

As expected, Soulja Boy didn’t let the actor’s clapback fly and instead doubled down on his insults. “You a b***h and Ill slap the sh*t out u. Speak on what u know b***h n***a trump wasnt even there it was a Bitcoin event b***h n***a u washed up p***y,” the rapper responded.

In another post, he added: “You a 52-year-old black man that dressed up like a white b***h. Who really the coon? Broke a*s n***a.”

And because we’re talking about Soulja Boy, there were indeed MORE insults. In a third post, he called out Marlon Wayans for his role in the ‘White Chicks’ movie. “Aint’ this u f****t? White man could never make me dress up like a white b***h. Ur career ended when u did this. Get off my d**k Uncle Tom a*s n***a,”Soulja Boy wrote.

So, What Exactly Set Soulja Off?

Based on his responses, it looks like Soulja Boy’s rant is a reaction to an interview Marlon did in Janaury on 101.1 The Wiz (WIZF-FM). During the radio chat, the actor spoke about celebrities like Soulja Boy, Nelly, and Snoop Dogg receiving backlash for performing at inaugural events honoring President Donald Trump last month.

For context, Soulja and Snoop performed at the first-ever Crypto Ball in D.C. Though the event honored the president, he did not attend, and Soulja later clarified that the event “paid [him] a bag,” and that’s why he accepted and would again.

Marlon & Soulja Reveal Past DMs To Each Other As Dissing Continues

The online heat between Marlon and Soulja simmered for a lil’ bit before heating back up. Wayans took a page out of Soulja’s book and shared a photo of a man telling the rapper something in his ear. “I’m sorry, @souljaboy said what now? Lookin’ like you give up anything for some meth,” the actor wrote.

In another X post, Marlon Wayans teased Soulja about “retiring” after two songs, and in another, he accused the rapper of dying to get a movie role from him. Wayans also included a screenshot of Soulja asking him to cast him in 2016 and as recently as October 2024.

Well, Soulja cranked the heat up and returned the energy. “Awwwww did I hurt your feelings @MarlonWayansur movies suckI was tryna turn ya sh*t up. No hard feelings I’ll still do a movie with you. All this sh*t is entertainment,” he clapped back on X. In another post, he shared a screenshot of a Twitter DM from Marlon Wayans in 2017 asking him to promote his movie ‘Naked.’
