Meek Mill, Michael Rubin & The Reform Alliance Team Treat Dozens Of Kids To A Shopping Spree And Patriots Game For The Holiday Season

Aside from celebrating the holiday season, many people also use this time of year to give back to the community. Meek Mill, Michael Rubin, and the Reform Alliance team did their part as they treated a group of lucky kids to a shopping spree.

According to CBS Philly, on Saturday, more than 50 children were chosen for a VIP shopping spree at the NBA Store, and then afterward, they were treated to a trip to the Gillette Stadium to watch the New England Patriots play. The children involved in the special outing were children from Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Harlem, and New Jersey. All of which have had their lives affected by the justice system.

Michael Rubin tweeted about the experience and said, “Amazing when everyone in sports comes together for something even bigger! Really enjoyed hosting a shopping spree at the @nbastore for kids who have had one of there parents sent to prison for technical violations (that means NOT committing a crime)!!”

Meek Mill, Michael Rubin, and Clara Wu Tsai, who are all co-founders of Reform Alliance, started off the amazing experience at the NBA Store in Manhattan, where they were greeted by DJ Khaled and Brooklyn Nets player Caris LeVert. Afterward, it was arranged for the kids to fly on the Patriots charter plane to New England for the Patriots and Bills football game.

After the shopping spree, Meek Mill traveled to his hometown Philadelphia for his second annual toy giveaway where more than 3,500 children were able to pick out gifts.
