In a fiery social media post, Megan Thee Stallion revealed that she’s fed up with Tory Lanez, his fans, and his legal team’s attempts to free him. She slammed claims of “new evidence” in the case that landed him behind bars for 10 years.
For context, in December 2022, a jury convicted Tory Lanez of three felonies: assault with a semiautomatic firearm; having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle; and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. During the trial, Megan testified that in July 2020, after they left a party at Kylie Jenner’s Hollywood Hills home, Tory Lanez fired a gun at the back of her feet. She also claimed he shouted for her to dance as she walked away from an SUV they had been in. She had bullet fragments in both feet that had to be surgically removed. It wasn’t until months after the incident that she publicly identified Lanez as the person who had fired the gun.
In her social media blast, Thee Stallion stood on her trial testimony. Megan again named Tory Lanez as the shooter and called him a “demon.” As expected, social media has been going OFF about her message. Megan Thee Stallion Goes IN On “Demon” Tory Lanez
Megan Thee Stallion blasted Tory Lanez via TikTok on Monday (May 19). As of Tuesday morning, the post is still live on her account, with over 284,000 views and counting. The comment section is turned off. Sis got straight to the point, starting the statement with “At what point are y’all gonna stop making me have to relive being shot BY TORY!?” She also asked when Tory and his fans will “stop lying” and how much it costs to keep “harassing” her.
“One min him/y’all said I was never shot now y’all letting him play in y’all face AGAIN and say I was shot but it wasn’t him oh okay….?! I’m sick of this sh*t. LEAVE ME TF ALONE!!!! HE AIN’T DARE GET ON THAT STAND AND DENY HE SHOT ME AND THAT WAS HIS CHOICE BECAUSE HE KNOWS HE DID THAT SH*T!”
The Houston Hottie added that she doesn’t care about “a blog or a bot. She also questioned what motive she would have to lie about Lanez shooting her.
“How y’all mad at the person that got shot???? FACTS ARE FACTS, he did it, it was PROVEN IN COURT f**k the hate campaign on the internet. TORY YOU SHOT ME!! Ain’t no new f**king evidence. Y’all been saying the ame sh*t for years. TORY PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE you a f**king demon,” Megan wrote, adding that she’s off the “silly a*s internet.”
For context, Megan recently alleged that Lanez was harassing her from prison through other people. In January, a judge issued a protective order through 2030 ordering him to stop any such harassment or any other contact.
Rapper Recently Stabbed In Prison
On May 13, prison officials name-dropped Santino Casio as the man who stabbed Tory Lanez behind bars. Details of how the stabbing occurred are still murky, but his team first revealed the update in a message on the rapper’s Instagram account on Monday (May 12). The message claimed that Tory was stabbed 14 times and that both of his lungs collapsed. Additional reports claim the stabbing happened in the courtyard of the California Correctional Institution, which houses around 1,700 inmates.
Casio was already serving a life sentence for second-degree murder. Additionally, Lanez isn’t the 42-year-old’s first incident with another inmate. Casio was previously convicted of an in-prison assault with a deadly weapon, per the Associated Press. Following the stabbing, Casio was reportedly moved to restricted housing.
A member of Tory’s team told The Shade Room that the rapper was in critical condition after the stabbing and was transported to a local hospital. However, within a day of the incident, the rapper was reportedly in recovery with non-life-threatening injuries, per TMZ. Another Instagram post from Tory’s account later said the rapper was “talking normally, in good spirits, and deeply thankful to God that he is pulling through.”
Tory’s Legal Team & Florida Rep Claim There’s “New Evidence” In Case
After Tory Lanez’s stabbing, Unite The People held a press conference naming bodyguard Bradley James as a new witness. James allegedly informed Tory’s team that he overheard Kelsey Harris admit to being Megan Thee Stallion’s shooter during a phone conversation. James reportedly didn’t sign an NDA with Harris and chose to speak out because he didn’t want to allow a “man to sit in prison for something he didn’t do.” Tory’s team followed up by launching a petition calling for his release.
Most recently, Anna Paulina Luna, the U.S. Rep. for Florida’s 13th Congressional District, advocated for his freedom and urged the California governor to pardon the rapper. On Tuesday, she followed up by saying they have “compelling evidence” to prove Tory Lanez’s alleged freedom, and plan to release it in 36 hours.
“Those who rushed to call for his incarceration, and worse yet pushed false evidence, should prepare to be held accountable,” Paulina Luna wrote.
