Two days after Tory Lanez’s team shared an update on his condition after being stabbed in prison, new evidence has allegedly surfaced in his federal case, involving Megan Thee Stallion. Per Fox Los Angeles, a legal team is pushing for alleged justice in Lanez’s name, claiming he never fired the shots. In fact, a bodyguard for Megan Thee Stallion’s ex-best friend, Kelsey Harris, says she was the one who allegedly pulled the trigger.

Alleged New Details Emerge In Tory Lanez Case
On Wednesday, May 14, during a Unite The People press conference, UTP’s lead legal consultant, Walter Roberts, shared new claims in Tory Lanez’s case. A bodyguard named Bradley James, who allegedly drove Kelsey Harris, came forward with what he claims to have overheard. According to James, he overheard Harris during private conversations admitting to being Megan’s shooter.
Since James isn’t bound by a non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement, he chose to speak openly with Unite The People. He told them he decided to come forward because his conscience wouldn’t allow him to watch “a man sit in prison for something he didn’t do.” Roberts also shared that James specifically recalled Harris allegedly saying during a phone call that she had the firearm.
“She had the gun, she fired it [three times]. Mr Peterson (aka Tory Lanez), grabbed her arm and knocked it down and the gun fired two more times,” James explained.
UTP’s Walter Roberts also pointed out that this aligns with the testimony of the only neutral witness, Sean Kelly. Kelly testified during Tory’s trial. Roberts also repeated Kelly’s statements from the trial, where he mentioned seeing two women (Megan and Kelsey) fighting before two men intervened. He then said one man grabbed one of the women’s arms, and gunshots came from the passenger side, where Kelsey Harris was reportedly sitting.
“This further iterates that Mr. Peterson did not shoot Ms. Megan Pete, did not shoot at Ms. Pete or did not assault Ms. Pete. It’s just another irregularity in a list of irregularities in this case,” Roberts added.
Legal Representative For Megan Thee Stallion Issues Statement Following New Alleged Claims
Hours after UTP’s press conference about Tory Lanez, Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyer Alex Spiro released a statement to XXL. Spiro described Tory’s case as a violent assault that the court already resolved.
“Tory was tried and convicted by a jury of his peers and his case was properly adjudicated through the court system. This is not a political matter — this is a violent assault that was resolved in the court of law,” Alex Spiro said.
Tory Lanez’s Father & Chris Brown React To New Alleged Details
Tory’s father, Sonstar Peterson, also appeared at the UTP press conference and demanded justice for his son. In a video shared by Fox Los Angeles, Sonstar said he’s stayed quiet for too long. He also briefly spoke on Tory’s current status after being stabbed 14 times.
Sonstar said he spoke to Tory after the incident. He noted that Tory told him, “Dad, I thought it was my last.” He also shared that Tory had no idea his lungs had collapsed — he just knew he couldn’t breathe and could barely talk. Sonstar also said that despite the wounds Tory suffered, “he is recovering remarkably.”
Chris Brown also jumped in with a subtle reaction after the new details about Tory dropped. He posted a message on his IG Story on May 14, simply writing, “FREE TORY!!!!!”

Latest Details On Tory’s Condition After Prison Stabbing
On Monday, May 12, news broke that a prisoner stabbed Tory Lanez multiple times in prison. TSR reported that convicted killer Santino Casio stabbed Lanez. Casio is currently serving a life sentence for second-degree murder.
A day after the incident, Lanez’s official Instagram account shared a statement with more details, revealing he suffered 14 stab wounds across his body including, “7 to his back, 4 to his torso, 2 to the back of his head, and 1 to the left side of his face.” The statement also claimed that both of his lungs collapsed. At the time, he was using a breathing apparatus, but he’s now reportedly making progress and breathing on his own. “Despite being in pain, he is talking normally, in good spirits, and deeply thankful to God that he is pulling through,” the statement noted.
In conclusion, the statement said that Tory expressed an immense amount of gratitude for the continued support during this time. “He also wants to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support,” the statement read.
