Rommates, we are saddened to report that Mike Epps has suffered a terrible loss this holiday season. He took to Instagram to reveal that his mother passed away.
“Rest in paradise mama. Thank you for all the lessons a life itself you fought hard baby because of you I will never stop fighting in this thing called life. She loved her kids and family and we had good times with her this is not a good bye it’s a we’ll see you later,” he wrote.
While he did not reveal the cause of her death, many of his fans and friends sent him encouraging messages under the post. Many of his peers, including Cedric The Entertainer, Gary Owen, and Bill Bellamy, sent Mike their condolences for this great loss. Mike would often post sweet photos of his mother on his Instagram, and showed her loved whenever he could.
Mike Epps posted the news on Sunday, but it seems she passed sometime last week, as Rickey Smiley sent his condolences to Epps on December 22nd on his radio show.

It’s not every day we see Mike Epps posting such serious news. His Instagram is usually full of lighthearted and comedic posts, so seeing something so tragic definitely pulled on the heart strings of his followers.
