The singer and Wilson are seen posing together in lux matching coats, giving faces for days! Aside from the pictures, though, Monica kept the caption light. “Showing love before the takeover,” she wrote, promoting a drop. Friends loaded up Mo’s comment section with compliments and praises, from Toya Johnson and Joie Chavis dropping heart eyes to Ty Young writing, “Y’all lool TF good.”

In The Shade Room’s Instagram comment section, the singer wrote,“Happy New Year! Love you guys!”

Monica Previously Admitted To Being In Love

As mentioned, in April 2024, HelloBeautiful published an interview with Monica in which she described falling in love with Anthony Wilson. She said her relationship with the film executive is “amazing” and a first-time experience for her in its own way.

“When you fall in love with someone thats been your friend for a very long time, I think its different,” Monica shared at the time. Adding, “Im new in the space, but Im definitely enjoying it. Im enjoying being supported. Im enjoying being really loved in a way that allows me to be a lot softer than I typically am…There are a lot of firsts happening for me right now.”

Acts of service were at the center of their relationship last year. Monica told the outlet that Anthony was always ready to ease any of her burdens at the slightest hint of stress. He’s also considerate that dating her is a package deal. In March, Monica said Wilson arranged for her three children to visit her on set of her tour opening act for Nicki Minaj.

“In my relationship now, I dont have to take over I can just be myself, express myself, explain whats happening in my daily, and he just fixes it, she said. He can tell you where all of my children are most of the day. He loves to make sure that his relationship with them is intact. Not in a way that seems forced but natural. Whatever it is they love, he goes to that, meets me, meets them where they are,” Monica added.

Issa goooddd man, Savannah! While Mo didn’t hold back on the details in the interview, she kept the romance offline — for the most part — in 2024. These new pictures are the first the singer has posted of them since the year started. She’s still gatekeeping whether they spent the holidays as one!

One thing she was clear about in 2023, though, was letting go of the past. In December of that year, she told The Shade Room that she was ready for the C-Murder ties to be cut! “Follow my lead,” she said in response to social media users bringing it up.
