Whew! It looks like y’all might’ve actually worn Mulatto down about her stage name, Roomies. The rapper came into the industry as ‘Miss Mulatto’ and changed her stage name to just ‘Mulatto’ as she became of age. Now, it looks like she may have changed her name for the second time after receiving some backlash.
Back in December, Mulatto discussed possibly changing her stage name, noting that she had been listening to opinions from her fans about the historical meaning of the word. The rapper never explicitly said she would change her name, she seems to be listed as just ‘Latto’ on streaming platforms.

Platforms including Apple Music and Spotify have listed the rapper as Latto on her music portfolio, prompting fans to believe she has finally decided on the new stage name.
Mulatto teased a new name in early May in a freestyle video saying, “F**ck it I changed my name but I bet they still gon’ find something. Y’all ain’t bully me out of my sh*t. Drop hits, I still ain’t miss. New money, new crib, new whip, new name I’m still that b**ch.”
