Ne-Yo Chimes In On Crystal Renay’s Recent Accolade
On Tuesday, March 12, Renay took to Instagram to share a screenshot of a recent interview she did with PEOPLE. The headline read:
“Crystal Renay Is ‘Feeling Blessed and Grateful’ After Divorce from NE-YO: ‘I Chose My Self-Worth’ (Exclusive)”
Additionally, in the post’s caption, Renay shared a few words.
“With grace and gratitude! I Choose Me…Everytime. Thank you @people for the exclusive! 💋”
Renay’s ex-husband, Ne-Yo, apparently dropped eyes on her Instagram post. Furthermore, he decided to leave a brief message.
“Congratulations”

While Instagram user @mrjerometrammel added, “Definitely a gaslighter.. This the same one who made the decision with his family to have his prior wife tie her tubes, to then have a baby with Crystal..”
Crystal Renay Recently Shared Words For Ne-Yo
As The Shade Room previously reported, Renay filed for divorce from Ne-Yo in 2022. Since then, Ne-Yo has been moving on with his hands FULL. In July 2023, he was spotted holding hands with two women in Miami.

Then, in February, two women took to social media and shared posts about their joint time with the singer, per The Shade Room.
Shortly after, Renay reacted to her ex-husband’s apparent polygamous dating activities in The Shade Room’s comment section.

“Gave him to y’all and you still gotta share,” she wrote.
However, that didn’t stop Ne-Yo from flaunting his lifestyle. Earlier this month, the singer headed to Jamaica with his two ladies and apparently enjoyed a good time, per The Shade Room.
Meanwhile, Renay tells PEOPLE that Ne-Yo is an “amazing father, and despite their marriage not working out, she’s “happy” to move forward.
“Sometimes we can’t see the bigger picture and what may or may not be for us and in this situation, clearly it wasn’t a place for me to be in any longer, and I’m OK with that… I’m happy for myself because I chose my self-worth,” she explained. “I chose to stand up for myself and walk away from something that just wasn’t serving me any longer.”
Furthermore, Renay explained that she doesn’t “drag” the singer or “talk negative about him.”
