There’s a reason Nene Leakes is steady in the conversations about reality TV royalty. She’s never been afraid to speak on it! On Thursday, news broke of a lawsuit filed against Nene by her boyfriend’s estranged wife, Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh. The estranged wife believes Nene became involved with Nyoni while he was married. She’s gunning for $100,000, but in a video, Nene seemed to deny the story.
“We love y’all. So much is going on in the world, let’s just try to show each other a little more love,” Nene shared with a laugh. “And I really mean that from the bottom of my heart, it’s a lot going on in the world. I’m already out here husband stealing…And ain’t nobody out here stealing husbands are they? I wouldn’t know.”
She added, “nobody wants to steal nobody else’s problems hunnay” and her twist on some Grinch-like facial expressions. Nene topped off her comment with her signature “hunnay” and laugh.
Estranged Wife Says She Suffered From Emotional Distress In Lawsuit
But the suit against her describes the opposite tone for Malomine. In the docs, she said photos the star shared featuring Nyoni caused her humiliutation. Additionally, she described suffering from “emotional distress, mental anguish and loss of affection as a result.
Before Nene went live, she shared another post on her Insta Story featuring the man in the middle of the drama. She recorded herself smirking, pouting, waving, and playing in her hair as Nyonisela drove. Nene also added the song and lyrics to Muni Long’s Hrs & Hrs.
Nene’s Boyfriend Pens A Note About Avoiding The Negative
And Nyonisela didn’t just feature in Nene’s traffic baewatch video. He also took to Instagram to speak sweet on Nene’s name following the spread of the lawsuit. He seemingly wrote a letter to her but didn’t tag her in the copy.
“The best u can do to urself in life’s not to allow negative people to bring u down to their level, just maintain your self respect and keep away from them. Know that u can’t hangout with negative people and expect to live a positive life. Don’t forget that the less u respond to negative people, like my separated…the more peaceful ur life will become,” Nyonisela wrote.
Nene and Nyoni sparked a viral conversation when footage surfaced of them boo’ed up in the club a few months after the passing of Nene’s husband, Gregg Leakes. In December, she confirmed a romantic relationship with Nyoni to The Shade Room. She said her husband’s last words included a message about being happy!
“I will love Gregg forever & ever! Grieving is hard! Even harder & depressing alone. Gregg and I had a very tearful conversation before his passing,” Nene shared. “His words to me were “Be happy, keep smiling and he who finds you has found a good one.”
