The internet’s buzzing after news dropped that former NFL star, Colin Kaepernick, and radio/TV host, Nessa, have officially said “I do.” But, here’s the catch — if you thought this was fresh-off-the-press, think again. According to Nessa herself, the couple actually tied the knot years ago — and it flew right under everyone’s radar.

Nessa Said Her And Colin Kaepernick Are WHAT?
Recently, TMZ Sports caught up with Nessa in New York City, just days after she called out the media for constantly labeling her as Colin’s “girlfriend,” “partner,” and “mother of his child” — when in reality, she’s very much his wife. When asked about the wedding date, Nessa kept it low-key, sharing only that they got married “years ago,” leaving fans wondering why this major detail stayed so quiet for so long. So, the real question now is: Is it too late to send a wedding gift?
Social Media Is Talking!
Social media is definitely talking — and the TMZ TikTok comment section is proof! Some folks are acting like they knew all along, dropping “finally!” and “we been knew” energy, while others are shook, saying they didn’t even realize Nessa and Colin go together. Meanwhile, the rest of the comments are full of love and heart emojis, with fans genuinely happy to see the couple still going strong.

Nessa Stands 10 Toes Down For Her Man
Last month, Nessa hopped on Instagram Live to clear the air — and baby, she had time. According to a clip captured by LiveBitez, Nessa revealed that Nicki Minaj’s recent X posts about smear campaigns involving Jay-Z, Desiree Perez, and Roc Nation struck a nerve. She said Nicki’s transparency reminded her of what she witnessed firsthand during Colin Kaepernick’s NFL protest days. “I saw it happen to Colin, and I called this out years ago,” Nessa said, urging folks to revisit the timeline and receipts.
Nessa didn’t bite her tongue when it came to Hov either. She seemingly accused Jay-Z of throwing Colin under the bus by allegedly supporting behind-the-scenes “smear campaigns.” She made it clear that Colin was never offered a real shot to return to the league — shutting down rumors he asked for too much money. One thing about Nessa: she’s standing ten toes down, and she wants the world to know she’s been speaking on it.
