A New York judge has reportedly issued a ruling on Diddy‘s appeal request to be granted bail amid his federal indictment.
As The Shade Room previously reported, the 54-year-old’s updated bail request asserted that he would remain in Miami, be monitored by a private security company, and submit logs of his daily contacts. Additionally, the updated request asserted Diddy’s visitors would solely include his family, caretakers, and friends who are not involved in his current indictment.
Female visitors would reportedly be confined to his family members and mothers of his children.
According to The Independent, a district court judge has denied the 54-year-old’s updated request for bail.

As The Shade Room previously reported, the 54-year-old was arrested and taken into FBI custody on Monday, September 16. At the time, it was reported that authorities entered his hotel room in midtown Manhattan. Additionally, they conducted a search of his space.
On September 17, the music mogul’s federal charges were revealed to be sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, per The Shade Room. Additionally, a 14-page indictment detailing the charges against the 54-year-old was released to the public.
The indictment accused the music mogul of abusing “women and others” with the intent of having them “fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.” Furthermore, the indictment asserted that Diddy used his businesses as a “criminal enterprise” to engage or attempt to engage in actions of “sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”
Additionally, on September 17, the music mogul appeared in court and pled not guilty to his felony charges. At the time, his defense lawyer reportedly proposed a $50 million request for bail, per The Shade Room. In the proposal, Diddy alleged he would limit his travel between New York and Florida and present his Miami mansion and his mother’s Miami home as collateral for his release.
In turn, prosecutors asserted that Diddy utilized coercion against witnesses and could potentially be a flight risk. Ultimately, the 54-year-old’s request for bail was denied.
Since then, more information has been revealed about the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. This is the location where Diddy will reportedly be housed until his trial begins.
