As mentioned, the jokey joke came via Nia Long’s social media, Instagram Story to be exact. The star didn’t write the snappy message, but she added a large laughing emoticon to it when she reposted.
“Too much attention from a side chick makes a midlife crisis man think he’s a king. Easy tiger, it’s just a paper hat from the kids’ table,” the post said.
Our good sis hasn’t offered any other context for the post. It was first shared by the IG account houseofqueenquotes on August 22. The page boasts nearly 14,000 followers. Their caption read, “Too much attention makes a donkey think he’s a lion…” In the post’s 27,000 likes was also Angela Simmons, who recently revealed the end of her relationship with Yo Gotti.

In The Shade Room’s comment section, over 10,000 roommates weighed in! And the consensus in the chat is that the post is relatable AND extra iconic coming from Nia Long. Why? Because Nia Long’s marriage ended, in part, due to an affair her ex-fiancé, Ime Udoka, had with a co-worker.
