Nick Cannon is just full of surprises. The multi-talented entertainer and businessman is back on the mic but instead of delivering bars, he’s serving vocals and people are shook to find out that Nick can sing! Nick Cannon teamed up with gospel royalty Kierra Sheard to deliver a powerful performance of Fred Hammond’s classic, “No Weapon.”
The duo even shot a video for their rendition of the song. The video has a crisp look, shot in black and white, with Nick on the keys and Kierra accompanied by a choir.
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper” Isaiah 54:17 Thank to @KierraSheard coming through and blessing us all with an Ncredible Session!#Classic #Gospel #NoWeapon@realfredh,” Nick wrote on Instagram.

Fans couldn’t help but share how pleasantly surprised they were by Nick and Kierra’s performance, but probably more caught off guard by the unexpected pairing.
“Nick Cannon singing with Kierra Sheard was absolutely not on any bingo card to come,” read one viral tweet.
Nick and Kierra’s version of “No Weapon” will actually be featured in the upcoming film, “She-Ball,” which was written and directed by Nick.
He’ll also be starring in the film as Avery Watts, a single father who lost his NBA dreams to gang violence, according to a news release. His character then partners with a women’s street basketball league to help save a community center in Inglewood, California.
The film stars an ensemble cast including Chris Brown, Birdman, Cedric the Entertainer, Evan Ross and DC Young Fly.
Nick seems to be turning things around after a rough 2020 (but who didn’t have one) when he parted ways with ViacomCBS over controversial comments he made about the Jewish community.
In addition to this film, Nick is also returning to his show, “Wild ‘N Out.” We’re here for Nick’s bounce back and wish him continued success.
