One thing about the Barbz, they’re going to apply that PRESSURE behind Nicki Minaj! And that’s really the case ahead of the highly-anticipated ‘Pink Friday 2.’ With days away from its release, Nicki put her fans on alert about landing in Gag City this Friday.

“As we begin to prepare for landing, please make sure your tray tables are put back up & your seat belts are tightly fastened. The captain has activated the “no bathroom” sign. If you look out the window, you’ll begin to see the beauty…clear waters, pink dolphins…#GagCity #PF2”

Not that the Barbz need a reminder because they’ve been sweating the calendar and showering Queen Barb with love online since she announced the release date. IKTR!

On Wednesday night, Minaj surprised her fans with another countdown post.

‘Pink Friday 2’ is set to arrive on Dec. 8 — also marking Nicki Minaj’s 41st birthday. It also comes 13 years after Nicki Minaj released the award-winning, trend-setting ‘Pink Friday 2.’

Barbz Share Their Take On What Nicki Minaj’s Gag City Looks Like

The Barbz cooked up some visuals with hints from the countdown post and some of Nicki’s recent projects, like her and Ice Spice’s ‘Barbie World.’  Under Nicki’s X post, her fans engaged with the creative efforts. Some gave more of a kikikiki, while others kinda-sorta make sense.

One of the top replies to Nick’s post came from fan account @DuhhMinaj. It gained over 400 shares and showed dolphins flying in the sky with two planes. Our POV? A crystal city lit in pink and blue hues and surrounded by pink waters. The account wrote, “The view is beautiful.” 

Fan account, @mayaminaj, shared a similar view of Nicki Minaj’s paradise.

@oplivio wrote, “Prepare for landing Barbz,” with a visual of a Gag City airplane landing near active traffic.

The pink-on-pink visual had Nicki’s fans gagging in the comments. One user, @ThatSoShelli replied, “landing on oncoming traffic is hxhdhsjaka,” and the account playfully responded, “gotta make it in time for the album drop.” 

One fan made sure Republic Records got their own building in Gag City.

Some even went the extra mile and gave us a POV from inside Gag City. A packed audience watched moments from Nicki Minaj, including her performance while hosting the 2023 VMAs and her message to fans ahead of ‘Pink Friday 2.’

Big Name Brands Tap Into The Gag City Wave As Barbz Visualize Owning Businesses In It

Karen Civil, rapper CupcakKe, and singer Tyla have tapped in from Gag City!

 

Several big-name brands, from Sour Patch to Auntie Anne’s, also set up shop in Nicki Minaj’s Queendom.

 

And the Barbz also took the opportunity to create their own establishments for the ‘Pink Friday 2’ hometown. From a building for Queen Radio to the Make Amends spot and the Moment 4 Life resrt, see some of those ideas illustrated below.

Nicki Minaj Fans Even Included Housing Options In Gag City

If you’re worried about a place to stay, don’t even stress. Nicki’s fans made sure to also share lots of options, from mansions to condos, country homes, and even a lil’ bit of the projects!
