Nicki Minaj seemingly took a more direct aim at Megan Thee Stallion late Friday (Jan. 27).
Throughout the day, Minaj referenced public information tied to Megan, such as her Grammy wins and performances, in X posts, replies, quotes, and likes. This came after social media speculated Megan’s ‘Hiss’ record was a diss track with words for Nicki Minaj.

One particular line in ‘Hiss’ was believed to be shade at Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty and his 1995 conviction for attempted rape and 2020 arrest for failure to register as a sex offender.
In verse one, Megan raps, “These h*es don’t be mad at Megan, these ho*es mad at Megan’s Law.” Megan’s law requires authorities to provide the public with information about registered sex offenders, per the State of California.
Late Friday evening, Nicki Minaj posted a bar, seemingly derived from the ‘Hiss’ lyric, but re-directed at Thee Stallion. She wrote, “Megan’s law. For a free beat you could hit #MeganRAW.”

Here’s How Things Escalated To The Remixed “Megan’s Law” Lyric
Leading up to the flipped lyric, Nicki Minaj hosted a series of live streams. Shortly after the release of ‘Hiss,’ the ‘Pink Friday 2’ artist debuted a ‘Big Foot’ track and commented about an artist with three Grammys who couldn’t fid the beat. To note, Megan Thee Stallion has been nominated for six Grammy awards and won three, per their website.
Fans were convinced that Nicki rapping about a “bad b***h” who’s “like 6 foot” was shade towards Megan. Minaj also seemingly referenced Megan being shot by Tory Lanez, teasing the now-viral line “Get up on your good foot.”
At that point, Megan seemed to respond to Nicki’s song preview and live comments. She shared a throwback photo of herself laughing to her Instagram Story.
Nicki Minaj Seemingly Continues Calling Out Megan Following ‘Hiss’ Release
Since the laughing photo, the Houston Hottie hasn’t addressed Nicki directly. Meanwhile, Minaj spent most of Friday going off on X and other platforms with her fans.
She seemed to stick to nicknames, such as Big Foot primarily. In a series of videos and X posts, she appeared to accuse Megan of attacking her husband Kenneth over “13-year-old tea,” despite allowing him to appear in their ‘Hot Girl Summer’ remix music video.
On Stationhead, Nicki addressed people “constantly [making her] family” the focal point, among other topics.
“…But just remember, if you’re lucky, one day, hopefully, your womb will bring forth a child,” she continued. “And you do not know what that child will have to go through. So, when you’re talking about something that happened to a 15-year-old boy, where there is evidence upon evidence that the story kept being changed… your karma will be severe.”
Minaj added: “Constantly mentioning a man who isn’t an artist isn’t on social media, it just shows me, you have nothing. Like your flows…nothing.”

Before that, on audio, Nicki seemingly called out Megan for allegedly lying about her “dead mother” and suggested she should “repent.” She also alleged that she conversed with Megan’s ex-best friend, Kelsey Harris, who gave contradicting testimony in the trial against Tory Lanez.
She also seemingly accused Megan of letting “everybody,” including Kelsey and Da Baby, be “thrown under the bus.”

In an X post, Minaj also claimed Thee Stallion encouraged her to drink and get an abortion while Nicki was allegedly actively trying to get pregnant. She also repeatedly called the 28-year-old a liar and suggested that Megan “be mad at Pardi” for his recent song about her.
