After teasing the news for months, it appears that Nicki Minaj is officially a married woman. She recently posted a telling video on Instagram that all but confirms the news that she and Kenneth Petty are finally husband and wife.
In the last update on her marriage, Nicki Minaj revealed that she would be married in about “seven days,” well a week later, it appears she kept her promise. Earlier this week, Nicki posted an Instagram video that featured “Mr. and Mrs.” mugs and baseball caps that read “Bride and Groom,” it’s pretty much confirmed that Nicki’s status has changed from “engaged” to “married.”
Nicki and Kenneth got their official marriage license in Beverly Hills back in July—and have been on the fast track to saying “1 do” since then. The rumors of her marriage reached a fever pitch when she referred to Kenneth as her husband in March, changed her Twitter name to Mrs. Petty in August and followed things up with discussing her feelings on “unconditional love” in an emotional post on social media last month.
Several of Nicki’s celebrity friends have also taken to social media to offer her congratulations and well wishes, including Christina Aguilera, La La Anthony and Naomi Campbell. Currently, there is no word on if official pictures of the big day will be released or who was in attendance besides Nicki, Kenneth and a witness.
The last time the couple was spotted out publicly was during Nicki’s recent Fendi fashion launch.
