Offset is finally breaking his silence on a longtime rumor involving Saweetie. For years, Migos fans have speculated that the rapper and Quavo fell out over the Icy Girl. Have Offset & Saweetie Been Romantically Involved?

Offset spoke on the Quavo and Saweetie beat while chattin’ on the ‘Baby, This Is Keke Palmer’ podcast with the actress. Released on Tuesday, the artists talked for about 45 minutes about a lil bit of everything–from the Migos breaking up to his bond with Takeoff, dealing with fame, overcoming addiction, to his failed marriage with the mother of three of his six children.

At one point, speculations about past beef with Quavo came up. After Keke Palmer asked, Offset quickly shut down the rumor that he had been intimate with Saweetie after her split from Quavo. For context, in March 2021, Saweetie shared on social media that she and Quavo had broken up. She later implied that cheating on his end was the reason.

Offset told Keke that his relationship with Quavo took a hit over “something deeper” than a fake affair with Saweetie. “No, man. It was a rumor, man. And I feel like it was something deeper than that for the split of me and bro,” he said. As far as the Saweetie rumors, he suggested that it was “a bug he heard” and that “people were trying to tear [his] situation down in that situation.” It seems he’s referring to his marriage as the “situation” amid the beef “situation.”

Where Do Quavo & Offset Stand Now?

Rumors that Offset was on the outs with Quavo go back a few years to 2022.That year, Quavo and the late Takeoff became a duo–swapping out Migos for Unc & Phew. They dropped their first group album in October 2022, the month before Takeoff was tragically shot in Houston. After his death, Offset and Quavo came together in 2023 to perform a tribute at the BET Awards.

Then, in March 2024, Offset spoke about having a solid bond with Quavo. In an episode of ‘Million Dollaz Worth of Game,’ the rapper clarified that they’re “real brothers” and that what happened between them is no one’s business.

“I dont feel like I owe it to people to show how much me and bro love each other. We went through something. We dont have to show you n****s smiles and faces, so stop doing that,” Offset said in the interiew.

Months later, in September, Quavo randomly posted on Instagram Stories that he had a “good convo with Offset.” More than a year later, it doesn’t appear that the former bandmates are beefing, but how often they communicate is unclear!

Saweetie Is Doing Icy Girl Things!

As mentioned, Saweetie is keeping any comments regarding Offset close to her chest. She’s never cleared the air on whether she ever had dealings with the rapper. That hasn’t changed in the two days since Keke Palmer dropped her interview with him.

Meanwhile, the day before (October 6), she took to Instagram with a photo dump of a glam event. She had attended the invite-only Tatler Ball, an annual event in Asia celebrating “influential changemakers, innovators and cultural icons,” per its website. The ball was held on October 3three days before Saweetie shared her recap photos! She looked stunning in a pink strapless gown with a mermaid shape, protruding hips, and tulle tail.
