By now, many of you know, people have been trying to figure out if there had been trouble in paradise for Saweetie and Quavo after people noticed that they were no longer following each other on Instagram.
As we previously reported, Saweetie took to Twitter on Friday to confirm that she is single and no longer with Quavo.
Shortly after Quavo also took to Twitter to speak on the matter and said, “I know you want to make this into a show, so I’ll play my part just this one time. I don’t normally put my business out there, especially my personal life. I feel the need to address this so there are no false narratives.”
He continued, “I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best.”

When Saweetie confirmed their split, she did say that she “endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes,” and also claimed that the love wasn’t real because intimacy had been given to other women.
Many of us have watched the development of Saweetie and Quavo’s relationship over time, and not only have we seen the bond that they built, but also the luxury items that they had purchased for each other.
From the Birkin bags, to the Icy Bentley purchased as a Christmas gift for Saweetie, to the Richard Mille watch that Saweetie purchased for Quavo in return, Saweetie wanted her supporters to know that the “presents don’t band-aid scars.”
