Ray J’s Mom Sonja Norwood Reportedly Responds After Social Media User Says She “Raised A Terrible Son”
On Thursday, November 27, Sonja Norwood took to her public figure Facebook profile to share a message with her more than 29,000 followers. Furthermore, Norwood wrote, “I hope each of you had a grateful Thanksgiving. The day started a little rough, but we had a good family Thanksgiving. Love ya’ll, we’re back on the road tomorrow. Detroit! See ya soon!

Per US Weekly, and a screenshot obtained by theJasmineBRAND, a Facebook user slid into Norwood’s comment section with a brief yet strong remark.
“You raised a terrible son. Happy Holidays!” user Creighton Leigh wrote.
In response, Norwood reportedly wrote, “sorry but i don’t think so.”
To note, in addition to that strong remark, another from a separate user read:
“She don’t gaf about what ray got going On, all she care about is that damn tour

In response, Norwood wrote, “… what Ray has going on is none of your business,”

At this time, it appears that those were the only comments Sonja Norwood took the time to drop in response to critics. Nonetheless, the conversation continued in the comment section of her initial post, with Facebook users weighing in with their thoughts on Ray J and his recent headlines.
Facebook user Ruth Durham wrote, “No you didn’t. Ray J is a grown ass man. He started his foolishness after she did her job as a mother. As parents we are not responsible for our kids behavior once they are adults. Hell sometimes as kids. Lol All we can do is raise them and pray for the best. Even kids who were raised so called right can f up. So stop blaming Ms. Sonja for her adult child behavior.”

Here’s Why The Facebook User May Have Told Ray J’s Mom, Sonja Norwood, That She “Raised A Terrible Son”
As The Shade Room previously reported, Ray J recently landed in hot headlines after a livestream caught him allegedly pulling a gun on his estranged wife, Princess Love. Ray J was reportedly speaking to fans about having the “worst Thanksgiving ever.” Ray reportedly alleged that someone was trying to take his kids from him, but it wasn’t going to happen.
Footage reportedly caught Ray removing an item from a table before he accused Princess of being drunk and wanting to drive. Princess Love accused Ray of pointing a gun at her while she held their daughter, Melody. Then, the livestream escalated with her male cousin and Ray getting physical.
“I swear to God, I’ll shoot the f**k outta you. Y’all get out my house,” Ray could be heard saying.
Police ultimately arrived on the scene and arrested Ray J. After bonding out of jail, he took to a livestream to defend his stance while Princess Love took to her own stream and urged him to “take accountability.” As The Shade Room previously reported, the pair is currently going through their fourth divorce filing.
