Rich Homie Quan‘s girlfriend, Amber Williams, has shared more memories about their relationship while reflecting on his life and career.
On Friday, September 20, Williams took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos and videos of her, Quan, and their children. Additionally, the carousel featured a mix of recent and throwback clips.
Furthermore, Williams shared a lengthy caption with her post. She explained that her boyfriend’s passing has been the “toughest thing” she’s ever had to endure.
“…on the rise of your career I knew what I signed up for. No one could tell me anything about you, I wasnt going for it. Support is an understatement!” she wrote, reflecting on their 15-year relationship. “…I did all I could to make you smile despite what weve been through it taught me to be stronger. All this time I thought I was strong but this got me weak.”
As her message continued, Williams explained that Quan worked diligently in his music career while remaining an “active father” to all of his children.
“…My 1st love & my last,” she added. “I cant question God but I can call on him just like I could call on you. You had so much more to do but its on us to keep your name alive. Im hurt, devastated, numb, angry, disappointed, just flat out numb.”
Wiliams explained that she believes she did her part and gave Quan his flowers while he was alive. She explained that they never spent birthdays or holidays apart, and ultimately, she’s unsure if she will “ever be okay.”
“Youre truly missed & loved by us all. Nothing could define us, nothing could stop us but this hit me where it hurts the most. I love you cant nobody tell me how to grieve or cope with this! Just want peace,” she concluded.

Social media users continued to share their empathy for Williams, who shares two children with Quan, in The Shade Room’s comment section.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Rich Homie Quan passed away on September 5. The following week, the Atlanta Police Department released an incident report, revealing that Quan’s body was discovered by Williams in the home they shared. Additionally, the rapper reportedly “did not appear to be alert, conscious, or breathing.”
At this time, Quan’s cause of death has not been revealed. However, the rapper and father of five was laid to rest by his family on Tuesday, September 17, per The Shade Room.
Furthermore, Quan’s service featured speakers such as DC Young Fly and Killer Mike.
