As they exited the parking lot of an apartment complex on the 3900 block of Delta Fair Boulevard, a bullet suddenly pierced the passenger-side window, striking the girl in the head. Officers believe the family was not the intended target. Additionally, it’s believed that Hardy allegedly fired the weapon thinking someone else was inside the vehicle.
