See Which Artists Are Returning To The GRAMMY Awards Stage In 2024

It’s almost time for the GRAMMY Awards! In just days, the Recording Academy will have artists like Travis Scott, Billie Eilish, and Burna Boy grace the stage.

However, all of the ceremony’s performers have not been announced yet! A few others are expected to make the list ahead of the award show on February 4 at 8 p.m. ET.

So far, the confirmed list of performances also includes Billy Joel, Dua Lipa, Luke Combs, Olivia Rodrigo, and U2.

More than half of the confirmed artists are also in the running to take the stage as a winner in one or more categories.

Luke Combs has been nominated for Country Solo Performance, while Olivia Rodrigo has scooped up an impressive six nominations. They include Album Of The Year, Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Rock Song, Best Vocal Album, and Best Pop Solo Performance.

While U2 isn’t nominated at this year’s ceremony, they’ve been confirmed as performers. For the first time ever, their performance will be streamed from the Sphere in Las Vegas, per Rolling Stone.

Billy Joel is also on the line-up, making his return to music with the upcoming release of his song, ‘Turn The Lights Back On.’The track is Joel’s first song he’s released in 17 years, making his anticipated performance all the more exciting to watch.

Here’s a closer look at some of the performers taking the GRAMMYs stage this year.

GRAMMYs With Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish is no stranger to delivering some memorable performances at the GRAMMYs. This will be her fourth time in the last four years hitting the award stage.

It’s assumed that the singer will be performing her hit ‘What Was I Made For?’ from the ‘Barbie’ soundtrack. The song has already secured Eilish her second Golden Globe award earlier this month when she won Best Original Song, per Pitchfork.

She previously won the same award in 2022 for the track ‘No Time To Die,’ for the James Bond movie of the same name.

Eilish last performed at the GRAMMY Award in 2022, wowing the audience with ‘Happier Than Ever.’

One year prior, in 2021, Eilish and her brother Finneas performed ‘Everything I Wanted’ at the same award show. The song would go on to win Record of the Year.

Eilish first graced the GRAMMY stage in 2020 when she performed ‘When the Party’s Over.’ This year,r she is also up for six awards at the show.

Travis Scott Makes His GRAMMYs Comeback

Travis Scott is also making his return to the GRAMMY stage this year! He last performed during the award show in 2019. His set list at the time included ‘Stop Trying to Be God’ and ‘No Bystanders.’

The first time the ‘Highest In The Room’ rapper performed at an award show after the 2021 AstroWorld incident was in 2022. He performed ‘Mafia’ and ‘Lost Forever’ at the Billboard Music Awards.

It’s unclear which songs the artists have planned for the GRAMMYs 2024 audience. But it’s fair to assume it’ll be quite the extravaganza, given his explosive energy and creativity in past performances.

As far as song options go, he released his last album, ‘UTOPIA’ in July 2023. It debuted at number one on Billboard 200 with 496,000 album units sold, per Billboard.

Dua Lipa Back For The Third Time

Having already announced plans to drop a new album later this year, it appears as if Dua Lipa is getting ready to kick off her next era.

She’ll likely be singing her recently released single, ‘Houdini.’ However, Dua could also end up performing ‘Training Session,’ a single she’s expected to drop on February 15.

On Jan. 22, she shared photos, captioning them, “GRAMMY rehearsals and other fun things.” Interestingly enough, she took a selfie in front of a mirror noticeably inscribed with the word ‘Houdini.’

The British pop star hasn’t graced the GRAMMY stage since 2021 when she and DaBaby performed their collab, ‘Levitating.’

Dua Lipa is nominated for ‘Song of the Year’ for ‘Dance the Night’ from the ‘Barbie’ soundtrack. She won her first Grammy in 2021.

Dua has certainly come a long way from when she first took the GRAMMY stage in 2019 with St. Vincent. They performed an electric pop version of her hit ‘One Kiss.’

Burna Boy

Burna Boy has quite literally dominated the music scene these past two years with hits such as ‘Last Last’ and ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World.’ No wonder he’s been called to bring the Afrobeats to the GRAMMYs!

Despite his chart-topping success, this will be Burna’s first time performing at the annual awards ceremony. In 2020, he won a GRAMMY for Best Global Music Album with his 2020 album, ‘Twice as Tall.’

The Nigerian hitmaker has been nominated for a total of four awards this year. They include Global Music Album, Melodic Rap Performance, Global Music Performance, and Best African Music Performance.
