Shaquil Barrett’s wife, Jordanna Barrett, has announced that they are expecting another child two months after the drowning death of their daughter, Arrayah. As The Shade Room previously reported, Arrayah Sue Barrett passed away in April at two years old.

Jordanna Barrett Shared The News On Instagram This Past Weekend
Jordanna Barrett took to Instagram this past weekend to share the information with her followers. In a post, she shared a photo of a Clearblue ultrasound that featured the word “Pregnant.”
Additionally, the photo was adorned with pink flowers. In the post’s caption, Barrett revealed that she and her husband found out they were expecting “a few weeks after” Arrayah’s “heaven day.”
“A few weeks after our sweet girls heaven day, Shaquil and I found out we were expecting! I just know Arrayah had a special hand in picking this sweet girl to add to our family!”
Barrett continued by explaining that they are overjoyed at the addition of a new baby girl to their family. However, they know their late daughter played a role in their gift.
“…we are so beyond blessed, so beyond grateful that God chose to give us another little girl! We miss our Arrayah every second of every day, but I rest in knowing she’s going to be the best big sister angel to little miss Allanah!”
Jordanna Barrett Reflects On Two-Year-Old Arrayah’s Life & Impact
As Barrett continued, she shared that her late daughter has given her “hope.” Additionally, she explained that Arrayah has “changed so many lives” and “blessed this earth.”
“Arrayah has given me hope. She has changed so many lives with the short 2 years she blessed this earth, and God works in such mysterious ways, but I will never ever doubt his plans for my life…”
Barrett explained that she trusts her faith through the most difficult times. Then, she concluded by sharing her thanks.
“Through the worst of the worst, he turns and uses ALL things for good. I will trust when it’s the hardest, and praise him through all things good. His plans are far more better than my own and always always will be. I serve a God who cares, a God who gives, a God who takes away, a God who comforts, and a God who unwavering loves us when we do not deserve it. Thank you Jesus!”
Lastly, the photo shared on Jordanna Barrett’s Instagram reveals that the baby girl is expected to be born in February 2024.

Shaquil Barrett has not publicly commented on his wife’s pregnancy announcement. However, on June 12, he took to Instagram to share a photo of Arrayah with a few words.
“I miss you baby girl😘😘😘. I’m so glad we had the time that we had together and wish we had more. I love you forever you were everything and more for our family♥️♥️”
