Social media users are goin’ OFF with questions while trying to identify a man spotted with Janet Jackson at a recent NFL game.
On Monday, October 6, a Janet Jackson fanpage on X, formerly known as Twitter, took to the platform to share a photo of the singer, apparently pulled from Getty Images. Furthermore, the photo shows her seated in the stands at an apparent football game, next to an unidentified man. Additionally, she and the mystery man both donned sunglasses.
“Who you with girl?? @JanetJackson,” the fanpage captioned the photo.
Per Getty, the photo was taken at the Dallas Cowboys face-off against the New York Jets. This, reportedly at Met Life Stadium on October 05, 2025. The outlet, however, did not identify the man seated next to the singer.

The recent sighting of Janet Jackson and the mystery man immediately sparked reactions in TSR’s comment section. To note, many social media users inquired about the man’s identity and relationship to Jackson. Meanwhile, others shared heated questions about Jackson being spotted at the game but apparently not at the recent filming of ‘Why Did I Get Married Again.’

Some of the questions social media users dropped for Janet Jackson were sparked by her apparently not being present for the recent filming of ‘Why Did I Get Married Again.’ As The Shade Room previously reported, earlier this month, The Shade Room obtained exclusive photos of Tyler Perry and his cast filming on the coast of Lake Como, Italy.
Notably, the photos showed Tasha Smith, Jill Scott, Sharon Leal, and a surprise addition with Taraji P. Henson. However, Jackson was not pictured in any photos. This seemingly led social media users to believe Jackson would be absent from the forthcoming sequel. To note, amid the exclusive photos surfacing, Perry took to Instagram to repost an article about the cast.
To note, Deadline did not include a mention of Janet Jackson in the article. At this time, Jackson hasn’t spoken out about her involvement or departure in the series, as Tyler Perry also hasn’t explicitly addressed the social media chatter.
