While Playboi Cartis bold fashion choice sparked reactions online, social media users focused even more on the woman standing beside him on the carpet. On Sunday, May 17, photos of Playboi Carti began circulating across social media after he appeared at the GucciCore Fashion Show event in New York City.
The rapper turned heads in an all-black look featuring a sheer mesh top paired with black animal-print skinny pants. He accessorized the fit with black leather gloves, layered silver chains, oversized sunglasses, and a black baseball cap. Carti completed the ensemble with pointed black boots while carrying a structured black Gucci briefcase.
However, it wasnt just Cartis outfit that had social media talking. The rapper posed on the carpet alongside model Ashley Ilene, who wore a sheer Gucci monogram dress layered under a white fur coat.
