A Texas mom was pissed at a Southwest Airlines employee after making fun of her 5-year-old daughters name. Now Ive heard some interesting names but Abcde is definitely one for the books!
According to the NY Post, Traci Redford claims the southwest employee took a picture of her daughters boarding pass and posted it on social media. Her name may be Abcde but its pronounced ab-city.
The mom was really upset because her daughter has epilepsy.
The gate agent started laughing, pointing at me and my daughter, talking to other employees. So I turned around and said, Hey if I can hear you, my daughter can hear you, so Id appreciate it if youd just stop. she said to KABC news.
Traci said she didnt even know the agent had snapped a picture of her daughters boarding pass until a friend spotted it on social media.
While I was sitting there, she took a picture of my boarding pass and chose to post it on social media mocking my daughter, Traci said.
It was actually brought to my attention by somebody who had seen it on Facebook and reported it to Southwest Airlines. And after two weeks of doing a formal complaint, Southwest hadnt done anything.
Southwest has since apologized to the woman for the incident.
