Roommates, we are sending our deepest condolences to Taraji P. Henson following the passing of her dog K Ball. On Monday she took to social media to express her heartbreak after he experienced some complications from a recent surgery.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Taraji said, “Had to say goodbye forever to my baby @kballhenson I AM GOING TO MISS MY SWEET BABY SO MUCH. K Ball was so good to me. Gave me three beautiful love-filled years. K Ball you calmed mommy’s anxiety. What will I do without you? Mommy tried everything to save your life. EVERYTHING!!! I couldn’t watch you suffer any longer.”

She continued to explain that K Ball had some breathing issues and that his “trachea was the size of a straw,” and as a result, playing, eating, and breathing became a difficult task for him. He had a total of two surgeries, but unfortunately, he faced some complications.
Taraji first took to social media to ask for prayers for her dog two days prior. That is when she first revealed his condition. At the time she said, “He is fighting and I am losing my mind. PLEASE KEEP FIGHTING @kballhenson MOMMY NEEDS YOU!!!!!!!”

Taraji recieved an outpouring amount of love from her supporters and celebrity friends, including Stephanie Mills, Tasha Smith, Ruth E. Carter, DJ D-Nice, Vivica A. Fox, Essence Atkins and many others.
