Tina Knowles and Beyonc did her big one with this one! Ida Mae Maclin, an 84-year-old grandmother, went viral back in February, begging Beyonc for tickets to her ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour. Her hilarious, no-filter TikTok had the internet gagging! The video was so popular it ended up getting the attention of both Bey and her mom, who hooked her up with FIVE floor tickets to see the show in Washington D.C.
On Wednesday, July 9, Tina Knowles shared a heartwarming post on Instagram, revealing how she and Beyonc helped Ida after her viral plea:
I DMed her granddaughter and this lovely grandma came to DC to the concert! Me and Bey bought tickets for them. They had a blast. She is hilarious! ,
Ms. Tina wrote. Her post came with a portion of Idas original video. Then, it cut to Ida serving a whole look in her cowboy fit. She was stepping and shuffling like she was one of the backup dancers, yall! In a clip posted to her Instagram, Ida was also seen dancing up a storm during RIIVERDANCE, with her loved ones hyping her up as she danced like nobodys business.

Back in February, Ida had TikTok in a chokehold with her raw, unfiltered plea for Cowboy Carter tour tickets. Look, Beyonc, we have supported you so much. No, we some poor a** n*****, she said, cracking up everyone in the room. Beyonc, Ima give you my address to send me five tickets, she continued, counting her crew.
Five. I need them right away. At 84, Ida kept it real with Bey, saying, I cant afford to see you no more, Im 80 years old [] We cant afford you no more. She even threw in a side rant about Beys manager before circling back: Anyway, Beyonc, we need some tickets. We hitting hard times.
The video hit millions of views across multiple platforms, and clearly, it reached the right eyes. Ms. Tina and Bey didnt just send tickets, they gave Ida and her fam floor seats to slay in DC.
