Fresh off supporting her daughter, Beyonc, at the kickoff of the Cowboy Carter Tour, Ms. Tina Knowles didnt waste time getting back to business. Shes on her book tour promoting her new memoir, ‘Matriarch,’ and her latest stop had everybody talking, especially since she linked up with none other than Michelle Obama! The two shared a viral moment when they broke it down to one of Tinas favorite tracks.
On Wednesday, April 30, Tina sat down with the Former First Lady in Washington, D.C. for a real-deal convo about her newly released book. But the end of their chat caused folks online to lose it. After wrapping up the interview, Michelle told the crowd she wanted to dance to one of Tinas favorite songs, and the energy shifted!
“Tina wanted to go out on one of her favorite songs. So, folks, lets hit it,” she said. Then, the venue lit up with 803Freshs ‘Boots On The Ground.’ The crowd cheered in excitement. Michelle Obama, serving a look in a tailored black suit, started hitting a two-step on stage.
Meanwhile, Tina wore a black and silver sequined dress with a sheer cape and kept it classy by shuffling side to side. The two kept the vibe going, with the crowd hyping them up as they shuffled and danced their way to the end of the event.
The comments sections had clearly passed the vibe check as the Roomies sounded off with their thoughts on the on-stage shuffle.

The D.C. stop on Tinas tour came with some surprises, too. While chatting with Michelle, Tina received a major surprise an audio message from Beyonc herself. Amid tour rehearsals, Queen Bey still found the time to show her mom some love on a HUGE accomplishment. Footage from the TikTok account @big_bey1981 showed a photo of Beyonc on the screen, accompanied by her name and an audio meter, as her voice rang out. She made it known that her mom had hit #1 on The New York Times’ best-seller list and was incredibly proud.
“Im so excited because I want to congratulate you on having the number 1 book on the New York Times best-seller list,” Beyonc said, as the crowd erupted before hushing real quick to hear the rest. “Im so proud of you, and Im so excited, and this is well deserved. Congratulations.”
