Y’all… this entire Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez situation has taken so many twists and turns in such a short amount of time! Megan Thee Stallion broke the internet last night with her very transparent reveal that Tory Lanez was in fact the person who shot her. And once Meg spilled that tea, the flood gates opened and we were on a ride with her! Taking to Instagram Live, Megan reveal Tory shot her. She also explained why she didn’t go to the police in the first place. The short version is given today’s climate with regard to police brutality, Megan was not only scared for her life, but the lives of Tory and her friends alike. See what she had to say below:
The entire live sparked a HUGE online debate about the protection of Black women, or rather, the lack there of! Social media was set on fire as users and celebrities have come forward to speak up about the lack of protection Black women have and domestic violence in general. One person, Larry Johnson, a former NFL player, took to twitter to give his two cents and advocated for Tory.
