Not the rap game turning into a sub-tweet saga! Trippie Redd has fans raising eyebrows after he took to X with a very specific comment just hours after Young Thugs leaked jail audio started making rounds online. In the clip, Thug calls GloRilla “ugly” and mentions Trippie Redd, prompting fans to think Trippie is firing back with a not-so-subtle message.
In a now-viral tweet, Trippie wrote: “Man hell yea Id hit that.” While he didnt name names, the timing has fans speculating that it was a direct response to the leaked audio involving Thug and GloRilla. Though its unclear exactly who or what he was referring to, social media is already running wild with theories. Some think Trippie was defending GloRilla, others believe it was just a coincidental thirst tweet, but either way the internet is locked in!
As previously reported, Young Thug has been ruffling feathers all across hip-hop with these leaked jail calls, and now it looks like Trippie Redd is the latest name caught in the crossfire. In one of the calls, Thug appears to throw shade, saying only Trippie would go after women like GloRilla a comment that had the timeline side-eyeing. While Glo ended up getting an apology, Trippie doesnt seem to be waiting for his. And, based on his tweet, he might be standing ten toes down instead!
Additionally, in a clip taken by Live Bitez, Trippie can be heard saying:
“Don’t ask me about no beef,” he said. “I don’t f**k with nobody. I hate everyone, I stay in my own lane… And, that’s not because I want to be like that. It’s because the industry made me like that. Everybody else is moving like that. All these n***as is fake… Everybody just want the next song. All they care about is what the next man look like, laughing and speaking on the next man. It’s some corny s**t going on.”
Folks ran straight to The Shade Rooms comment section after Trippie Redds tweet, and baybeee, they had jokes ready. Some said hes out here looking like a Labubu. While others are still in disbelief that Coi Leray ever gave him a chance. A few commenters even clowned him for the Id hit that line, saying, hell hit anything.

Meanwhile, Instagram user @shidrika added, “Please coi never spend the block again ”
While, Instagram user @devodontlie wrote, “We got the Thug files before the Epstein files, CIA doing OT right now before the holidays hit ”
