Trump’s 2020 Re-Election Campaign Surpasses $100 Million

#Roommates, if you’re thinking about not voting this time around, you better think again because the 2020 election is more than two years away and at least one candidate is already quietly working hard to raise his funds! According to CNN, Trump has already raised more than $100 million for his re-election campaign.

Between July and September, Donnie and the Republican National Committee raised more than $18 million according to new campaign filings with the Federal Election Commission.

And if y’all were wondering when Donnie planned to announce his re-election campaign, he always had plans on running again because he filed for re-election the day he was sworn into office back in 2017. This means Trump has been working to raise money since the day he stepped into the White House, as compared to President Obama who waited until year three of his presidency to start fundraising efforts.

The New York Times reports that a company called American Made Media Consultants is handling all of his campaign aides and they’ve spent at least $1.6 million on advertising thus far.

“After twenty months in office with unparalleled results for peace and prosperity in America, President Trump has provided the results he promised,” said Lara Trump, Trump’s daughter-in-law and senior campaign adviser. “And grassroots America has responded to these remarkable results and the booming Trump economy with their generous support of our campaign.”
She encouraged Trump’s supporters to turn out for next month’s midterms so Trump “can continue to build on his agenda.”

Thoughts, Roommates?
