The viral clip of Trump is only a few seconds long and shows a portion of the President taking questions from journalists. As one journalist asked a question about hostages in Gaza, a boom microphone came into view and tapped Trump in the mouth before slipping off his cheek. He immediately gazed toward the person responsible for a few seconds before looking away and raising his eyebrows. The President seemingly tried to re-focus on the journalist asking him a question, but he instead commented on what had just happened.
“She just made television tonight,” President Donald Trump said. Adding, “She just became a big story tonight, right? Did you see that?” He seemed to brush it off as an accident with a lil’ chuckle and tongue-in-cheek moment.
