‘Waffle House Hero’ James Shaw Jr. Replaces Kid Rock As The Grand Marshal In The Nashville Christmas Parade

Kid Rock lost his spot as the Grand Marshal in Nashville’s Christmas parade and was replaced by one of the heroes from the city.

According to Fox 8, Kid Rock was replaced by the Waffle House shooting hero James Shaw Jr. in Saturday’s Christmas parade. The replacement came after Rock made some derogatory comments about Joy Behar on a recent episode of “Fox & Friends.”

On Friday, Rock was interviewed by Steve Doocy and started to talk about how politically divided the country is and said, “People need to calm down, get a little less politically correct and I would say you know, love everybody. Except, screw that Joy Behar b**ch.”

Doocy quickly apologized for Rock’s remark and then pointed out that she just has different views than he does.

On the same day, Shaw tweeted “Just got some exciting news!!!!!” Shortly after he retweeted an article confirming that he was Rock’s replacement.

As we all know, Shaw earned the name “Waffle House Hero,” when he grabbed the barrel of an AR-15 after a man opened fire in a Waffle House in Antioch, Tennessee. He grabbed the gun and threw it behind the counter, saving the lives of others.
