Recently, Will sat down withNischelle Turner over at Entertainment Tonight to dish onthe secret to his hot and long-lastingmarriage to his wife. One thing is for sure, if you really love someone, you just never give up!“At the end of the day its just not quitting. You cant expect it to be easy,” Smith said of his marriage.
Will goes on to say,“Its like, our marriage was the most difficult, grueling and excruciating thing that weve ever taken on in our lives and were just not quitters,” Smith told ET. “And by the same token were not apathetic. Were not gonna just sit there and let it be painful. Were gonna keep working”…He better preach!
The actor then goes into revealing his secret on what he thinks made his relationship successful all this time, “…and if there is a secret I would say it’s that we never went into working on our relationship. We only ever worked on ourselves individually and then presented ourselves to one another better than we were previously.”
So, if we’re all on the same page here, becoming a better individual optimizes your chance of having a successful relationship– got it! You can’t take care of someone else if you can’t even take care of you!
