Jayda Cheaves Addresses Those Speaking On Loyal Armani’s Sexuality
On Monday, August 26, Cheaves and her friend Dess Dior released a new episode of their podcast, ‘Act Normal,’ via YouTube. About fifteen minutes into the episode, Dior questioned Cheaves about recently making headlines with her latest Waydamin campaign. As The Shade Room previously reported, a visual released promoting the brand’s latest collection, showed Cheaves covering her chest as she walked on a beach flauting her swimwear. Her son, Loyal Armani, was also shown in the visual.
In response, some social media users expressed concern about Loyal being around his mother while she was partially nude.
While responding to Dior, Cheaves explained that the internet’s “riff raff” didn’t bother her.
“Only because, I knew my intentions,” she said. “…When your intentions are pure and your intentions are good, there’s no need to clear anything up… I can’t their opinions about anything I posted.”
As the conversation continued, Cheaves addressed those who commented on Loyal’s “sexuality” while criticizing her campaign visual.
“It’s scary,” Cheaves explained. “It’s literally to that point, where I’m like, I just gotta pray for those type of people… Pray that they find it in their heart to understand that this is a child [and] it’s certain limits that you just don’t cross [or] certain things you just don’t say.”
Cheaves ultimately explained that she “knows” who Loyal “is,” and she’s no longer worried about trying to control the public’s opinion of him.
“…No one’s questioned [or] worried or bothered,” she explained.

Jayda Cheaves’ Sister Also Recently Made Headlines With Her Son
Cheaves isn’t the only one in her family who has made headlines along with their son. As The Shade Room previously reported, earlier this month, her sister Jazmine made headlines after she told her infant son Blaze to stop “screaming” while she was on Instagram Live.
While streaming, Jazmine reiterated to the newborn that he’s “not a girl” and appeared to vent her frustration about him crying “all day.”
“…I don’t like when he do that screaming s**t. He’s not a girl,” she said.
Jazmine’s comments sparked backlash online which led to the new mother hopping on her Instagram Story to defend herself. In her comments, Jazmine explained that she would no longer be posting her son online.
