Wendy Williams Reacts To Diddy’s Arrest & Shocking Assault Footage
On Tuesday, October 1, Daily Mail published an exclusive interview with Williams. The outlet notes that the 60-year-old withdrew from her self-titled daily television show in 2021. In February, the host graced TV screens when Lifetime released a four-part docuseries centered on her health. However, Williams’ recent conversation with Daily Mail is likely the first time the public has heard her opinion on current events in years.

According to the outlet, Williams is “unsurprisingly relieved” that federal agents are investigating Diddy.

“What is really weird is that I have been told by so many people, ‘Wendy, you called it,'” she said. “Including some people from my family who have said the same.”
Additionally, Williams explained that she was “horrified” to see the footage of Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura. As The Shade Room previously reported, the footage surfaced in May and showed the altercation, which reportedly occurred in March 2016.
“You know how I feel about that? It is about time,” she explained. “To see this video on TV of [Cassie] getting pummeled… it was just horrific. But now you have to think, how many more times? How many people? How many more women? It’s just so horrible.”

Here’s What’s Recently Happened With Diddy
As The Shade Room previously reported, Diddy was arrested by federal agents in New York City on September 16. The following day, his indictment was unsealed, and his charges were revealed as sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Additionally, the federal indictment asserted that the 54-year-old allegedly created a “criminal enterprise” through his “multi-faceted business empire.” This criminal enterprise allegedly engaged in, or attempted to engage in, “sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”
Furthermore, the indictment also noted that 1,000 bottles of baby oil and a plethora of firearms were recovered from Diddy’s homes amid the March federal raid.
Since mid-September, Diddy and his legal team have requested for him to be released on bail twice. However, his most recent request was denied on September 18.
