Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence after being charged in connection with a shooting that injured Megan in 2020. However, his lawyers allege that Kelsey Harris’ bodyguard overheard her admit to being the shooter, prompting new commentary.
“I can understand Meg’s frustration, though,” he said. “As I said, I think it’s strange — a court case happened, due process, all the evidence that was presented in court; weeks and weeks of testimony and evidence. All that goes out the window, all because the driver allegedly heard Kelsey say something? That only makes sense on the internet, by the way,” he said.
He continued, pointing out the logic gaps in the theory that Tory was protecting Kelsey.
“Why would Tory protect Kelsey? And if everybody says, ‘Oh, because he didn’t wanna snitch!’ Okay, cool. But why would Megan protect her then?” he went on.
