April 2025: Kevin Gates Shares Engagement Video In Response To Alleged Girlfriend Blasting Him
After the video of Brittany riding as a passenger in Kevin Gates’ car went viral, a woman named Persia P stepped into the spotlight. She called the rapper “manipulative and narcissistic,” and said Renner was “washed.” Persia also accused Brittany of converting to Islam because “it’s a trend” and called her out for claiming she wouldn’t date a man with multiple women but doing it anyway.
In another video, Persia P said she believed Kevin Gates was not a taken man after he told her so. At the time, she also reshared a video Kevin posted the day after Valentine’s Day, revealing that she was the mystery woman he was sweet-talking on the phone.

June 2025: Brittany Renner Confirms Marriage & Pending Divorce From Gates
In an interview published on June 7, Brittany Renner finally confirmed the marriage rumors she and Kevin had fueled. However, she also revealed that the union was over after 52 days. They allegedly tied the knot on April 6 and divorced on May 28. She did not share details about where they got married, who was present, or whether they had met each other’s families, including their kids from previous relationships.
In the interview, Renner explained that their shared Islamic religion demands a 90-day waiting period after a divorce request. During that reconciliation period, the couple can decide whether to follow through. According to Brittany, the period allows time to reveal whether the wife is pregnant, which she confirmed she’s not.
In the same interview, Renner explained that she gave Kevin Gates 100 percent of herself in the relationship. She also said she doesn’t feel like the situation is “sucky” because Allah has a plan for her. “…What is meant to be is always gonna be,” the influencer said.
