#MariahCarey can literally count on one hand the amount of people she’s slept with. In a recent interview she did for the August issue of @cosmopolitan, Mariah said she’s had sex with five people her entire life, according to @people. We all know that most of Mariah’s romances have been highly publicized, but she admits that she’s not one to play the field.
“I haven’t had that many, but there has been a variety pack,” Mariah said. “I’ve only been with five people in my life, so I’m kind of a prude, honestly, compared to most others in the field.”
If we’re keeping count, Mariah got married to her first husband, Sony exec #TommyMottola, back in 1993, when she was first poppin’ on the scene. Then about 10 years later, she got married again to Nick Cannon, with whom she shares 8-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.
Following that marriage, Mariah was engaged to Australian billionaire James Packer and after that split, she started dating her current manzzz, backup dancer and choreographer Bryan Tanaka. So as far that fifth man, your guess is as good as mine because Mariah didn’t speak on it.
She did talk about how she doesn’t “do birthdays,” because she refers to the celebration of her life as her “anniversary,” something she’s notorious for every March 27th.
“I don’t count years but I definitely rebuke them,” she said during a 2014 interview with Observer. “I have anniversaries, not birthdays, because I celebrate life, darling.”
The August issue of Cosmopolitan hits stores on July 16th.
