In an interview with People, #PowerStarz actress #NaturiNaughton dished about her upcoming album. The actress stated that she will explore “some of the feelings I had after being ousted” from the former girl group, 3LW.
Naughton also says that it was exciting, but also a little scary,” when referring to being a member of 3LW.
She also mentioned that “It was a tumultuous breakup. However, I do look back and remember, ‘Oh, I was on the TRL tour, opening up for Destiny’s Child,” Naughton says, according to People.
Kiely Williams must’ve read the interview because she seemingly responded on #IG and posted a photo that said, “I can’t believe you’re still bitter.” After a follower told her to basically put a name to who she’s talking about, Williams responded, “Wait, it doesn’t say[?].
As far as what else we can expect from her album, the mother of one stated her upcoming album will be “R&B fused with a little bit of that hip hop, swag but done in a way where we can turn up and still hear real music.”
“I want to bring back that ’90s era vibe with people really singing. I’m excited to just tell my story through song because a lot the songs I d talk about feelings I had after being ousted from 3LW,” Naughton explains.
As you may recall, Naughton was a member of 3LW alongside Adrienne Bailon Houghton and Kiely Williams. In the early 2000’s the trio rose to stardom, but Naughton left 3LW in 2002.
