It’s been almost four years since Alexis Skyy and Akbar V took heated jabs at each other’s parenting on social media. That 2021 beef went LOW, from clocking one mother’s presence to dissing one of the children involved. In the years since both women have offered apologies via social media for their heated words. However, Alexis and Akbar REALLY gagged social media this week when they linked up in person and snapped sweet photos.

The unexpected reunion comes more than a month after Akbar announced that she’s expecting a child with her husband, Bean.
Akbar Shares THIS Message About Forgiveness Amid Photos With Alexis
The new photos of the reality TV stars first surfaced on Akbar V’s Instagram feed. It appears the women linked up at a ‘Pop Out’ Magazine event celebrating Women’s History Month. Two photos of the women solo show Alexis Skyy placing her hand on Akbar’s baby bump as they both share smiles. Another showed them posing next to Dwight Howard’s fiancée, Amy Luciani–whom she also had beef with at one point. In her caption for the carousel photos, V wrote, “Forgiving is soothing for the soul … fk da bs we on some grown shhhh.. my sistas @alexisskyy @amylucianiworld.”
Akbar also shared another post—a video—thanking Alexis Skyy for sharing sweet words about her. She also praised her former frenemy for their growth and journey. In her video and caption, V also shared praises for Amy Luciani.
“@alexisskyy gave one of the best speeches I’ve heard to me and I teared up I got up there and gave her some love too, and I’m so thankful we forgave each other that says alot… I want to be pleasing to God I been on a journey certain things don’t excite me no more, but being kind and forgiving and righting my wrongs excites me more than ever @amylucianiworld gave each other so much love to cause we all are in our journey …. I want to walk like Jesus and be more like Jesus… its one commandment that overshadows all the commandments and that’s “ love thy neighbor like thy love ourself “ God wants us to love .. although I’m not all the way there I thank God that I make a start to work to get there .. soon I will be One of the strongest woman’s that ever walked with Christ I will preach his Gospel,l but until then ima keep trying to do right and be better than I was yesterday.”
Recap Of What Caused The Ladies To Beef
As mentioned, Akbar and Alexis’ beef dates back to June 2021. At the time, it started as a physical altercation in Atlanta that spilled over to the internet. Amid the exchanges, Skyy threw said at V, suggesting she needed to be caring for her kids. Akbar clapped back by blaming Skyy for her daughter Alaiyah’s disabilities, suggesting she consumed illicit drugs while pregnant. Alexis circled back with an emotional warning for V about bad-mouthing her daughter. When V apologized later that month, Alexis refused to accept her apology.
Things took a turn for Alexis Skyy in 2023. In March of that year, Skyy offered a blanket apology to all the women she’d previously beefed with, from Akbar V to Masika and Ari Fletcher. It’s unclear, though, when V and Skyy took steps toward being in each other’s presence again!
Meanwhile, Alexis and Akbar V aren’t the only ones who recently let bygones be GONE. Earlier this week, Chrisean Rock went viral after pleading with Jaidyn Alexis via social media to squash their beef. But her lengthy post-and-delete paragraphs didn’t seem to touch Jaidyn how she had hoped, chile!
