According to TMZ, the estranged exes have agreed to a joint custody settlement that has now ended years of legal wrangling and public feuding between the pair. The decision to share custody suggests an understanding that King’s welfare is paramount and that his parents’ joint involvement in his life will ultimately support his emotional and psychological well-being.

Tyga and Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, will make any decisions concerning King’s education, health, and other general welfare. The TV personality reportedly agreed to have custody of their son from Friday to Monday while Tyga takes over the remaining days of the week.

Although White initially sought child support, claiming that Tyga allegedly hadn’t financially contributed to King’s expenses, Tyga won’t have to pay a dime under the new settlement.

Angela White Accused Tyga Of Not Paying Child Support

The ‘Rack City’ artist had previously taken to social media before a settlement was reached, telling fans that he hadn’t paid child support since King was already spending five days of the week with him. White contended these claims, saying Tyga would only allow her to see their son for 24 hours per week.

He further mentioned spending $40,000 a year on King’s tuition fee as he laughed off his ex’s demands in a series of posts on his Instagram Story.

Joint custody arrangements reportedly require significant cooperation, communication, and compromise from both parents. This could be why the court ordered White and Tyga to enroll in a program to monitor their conversations about co-parenting while prohibiting them from speaking negatively about one another around their son.

The settlement comes just two months after White filed court documents about Tyga’s lack of support as she requested that he begin paying for King’s day-to-day needs.

Angela White Was Allegedly Forced To Sell Her Clothes

In October, the mother of two claimed to have turned to selling her personal belongings, including purses, clothes, and shoes, to cover the expenses that had piled up over time. Additionally, White alleged Tyga was noticeably failing to contribute financially.

White and Tyga may or may not have resolved all disagreements. However, roommates, we can only hope this custody resolution is a foundation for effective co-parenting moving forward.
