Beyonc pulled up to Atlanta on Thursday, July 10, for the first of four Cowboy Carter tour stops, and she had the BeyHive completely shook! After removing ’16 Carriages’ from recent setlists, Queen Bey brought it back with a vengeance, gagging fans with a new prop. In viral clips flooding the internet, Beyonc soars above the crowd on a robotic gold horse. No word yet on if this horse is replacing the infamous car prop for good, but ATL fans were LIVING for the songs triumphant return. Here’s what happened.
Beyonc basically said, Cadillac who? and brought the house down in Atlantas State Farm Arena! She resurrected 16 Carriages with a futuristic gold horse prop that had fans screaming. Rising above the crowd, Bey delivered those soul-stirring notes, and this time things went exactly to plan. The new prop also perfectly matched the country aesthetic of the tour. With three more ATL shows to go, online chatter is already underway, with people wondering if this is a permanent change to the tour.
The Roomies sounded off with their thoughts in the comments section. Heres what some of them had to say

On June 28 at NRG Stadium, Beyonc was slaying ’16 Carriages’ in her red car prop, floating above the crowd. But whew, it went left… literally! The car tilted sideways midair, leaving Queen Bey dangling. Cool as ever, though her breath was a little shaky, she shouted,
Stop, stop, stop! while the crew lowered her to safety. Fans gasped, but Bey waved and smiled like it was nothing. If ever I fall, I know yall will catch me, she told the crowd, per ABC News. Parkwood Entertainment called it a technical mishap, but whew, somebodys probably dusting off their LinkedIn! That scare led to ’16 Carriages’ being briefly cut from setlists.
In a statement, Parkwood Entertainment wrote, “Tonight in Houston, at NRG Stadium, a technical mishap caused the flying car, a prop Beyonce uses to circle the stadium, and see her fans up close, to tilt. She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident.”
