Claressa Shields is standing ten toes down behind her man Papoose, okay! The GWOAT has taken her love for him to a whole new level. Shields popped out at the weigh-in before her fight with Lani Daniels, flexing some new ink dedicated to Pap. And baby, the internet is going OFF with reactions over the tattoo and its placement. Whew, let’s get into it!
The Shade Room dropped some footage from DAZN Boxing showing Claressa Shields appearing on stage at the weigh-in for her upcoming fight with Lani Daniels, taking place on Saturday, July 26. The boxing champ hit the stage hyped in a floor-length fur coat with a one-piece bathing suit underneath. Her man was right behind her, too, showing love as she stepped up to face off with Lani.
And while Claressa came outside looking goodt, folks couldn’t help but clock the fresh ink on her body. As soon as she removed her coat, a tattoo could seemingly be seen right under her breast with one word, “Papoose.” Sis isn’t leaving room for any more questions or debates, she made it clear that they are locked in with her tat.

Claressa’s Papoose tat shouldn’t shock the net as she already made it clear that they are locked in heavy. So locked in that they are even planning to start a family really soon. Shields spilled on ‘The Pivot’ podcast that she and Pap want to have kids as early as next year. Claressa also kept it real about their relationship, calling Pap “a great man.” She also said that they’ve been solid since 2024 and shut down all the talk about her fighting over him.
Me and him are solid. We know what goes on in our relationship. Were always together. Were always connected. So were not fighting over a man. Thats a stupid narrative. And Im a grown a** woman. I dont have to fight over no man, Claressa explained.
