In the edited image, former President Barack Obama is shown inside the white Ford Bronco wearing a serious expression, while Donald Trump and his running mate, J.D. Vance, are photoshopped onto the pursuing police cars. Trump added a few laughing emojis in his caption, clarifying he didn’t create the meme himself. The post is clearly a jab linked to ongoing right-wing claims that Obama was involved in a so-called “treasonous conspiracy” related to the 2016 election and Russia—despite there being no evidence that Vladimir Putin was pushing to get Trump into office.
