Brian McKnight Celebrates Alleged $8M Judgment Win Against His Ex-Wife Julie McKnight
On the evening of Thursday, October 16, Brian McKnight took to Instagram to share a joint reel. This was shared with the account of his wife, Leilani McKnight. Furthermore, he titled the reel, “$8.8 MILLION… Lawsuit won against Julie McKnight… B. McKnight vs. J. McKnight Case no. 25CV015388-910”
Additionally, in the clip, Brian could be seen smoking a cigar while explaining to viewers that “it’s been a long journey getting to this day, October 16, 2025… [but] the verdict is in.”
“We’ve been quiet — listening to liars continue to lie and keeping to ourselves, living and loving our life as we said, leaving everything in God’s hands [and] letting our lawyer do the talking,” Brian continued. “But according to the courts, trying to ruin my name and trying to bring harm to my family with a book filled with lies equals $8.8 million…”
As he continued, Brian explained that “anyone who helped promote these lies” will hear from his lawyer in the coming days. Additionally, before concluding the clip, Brian noted that he was including a voicemail from a “liar.” Furthermore, the clip began playing Julie’s voice.
In the undated audio, Julie could be heard telling Brian and Leilani not to contact Niko. Additionally, as the audio played, the footage showed Brian skipping and jumping, seemingly out of joy.

At this time, The Shade Room has not been able to independently verify the case Brian is referring to, along with its status. Nonetheless, Brian’s remarks could be made in reference to Julie McKnight’s February-released book, ‘Mama Bear: Beautifully Blended.’ Additionally, per Amazon, the book’s synopsis notes that it was “written as a tool to give guidance to those who are navigating the twists and turns within a blended family.”
